Full page b&w engravings of rural southern African-Americans by Charles Copeland illustrate Foster's lyrics. Frontis portrait (with tissue guard) of "Nellie." Slight discoloration of endpapers, and slight fraying at top edge of spine, but a very good, attractive copy. ; 8vo
