Scuffed and worn cover with some foxing on endpages. Good + book with VG interior. ; 6 3/4 x 10. 1st UK edition. Limited to 250 copies is made and produced by George Rainbird and Ruari McLean for presentation to their friends at Christmas 1951. Original blue cloth ( a little dusty) with paper labels on front cover and spine; that on the spine is chipped and with slight edgewear. The title page illustration--a fabulous double-page woodcut illustration by J. F. Doeve. Set in monotype Bell and printed on Basingwerk Parchment by the Westerham Press, Westerham, Kent. Printed in black & red. ; Small 4to; 24 pages
